New Golden Ale Available
New Golden Ale Available
Brewers Choice are excited to be releasing their third home brew gluten free
beer kit this month. Called 'Golden Ale', it's a full flavoured, boutique beer.
If you thought the previous two recipes made great beers, stand back - this is a
cracker! Closer to a boutique beer than anything we have made before, our Golden
Ale is not just another beer for Coeliacs, but a beer for any beer connoisseur.
Golden Ale kits cost just $59.95 and make 60 stubbies - that’s a boutique,
gluten-free beer for just $1 a stubbie. That’s cheaper than your average
commercial carton!!!
If you are after a standard “Lager-style” beer, try our 'Oz Pale Ale' - crisp,
light and refreshing. Perfect for summer. Already great value, we have been able
to drop the price of these kits by $5.00 due to improving exchange rates. Oz
Pale Ale is now available for only $54.95, making it terrific value.
For something a little different, try our 'Honey Cascade' beer kits - that touch
of honey makes it a lovely drink. Also available at the new, reduced price of
$54.95.
Kits can be purchased at any Brewers Choice home brew store in Brisbane or from
the on-line store. If you are not based in Brisbane, go to the “Stockists” tab
and find a seller near you. There are over 50 across Australia.

Just a quick note to thank you f
More Happy Brewers!
Just a quick note to thank you for
introducing me to brewing gluten free beer. I recently brewed the Gluten
Free Pale Ale, it was very easy to make, I didn't really need any
specialised brewing equipment other than a fermentor, it had easy to follow
instructions and I am extremely pleased with the quality of the gluten free
beer. There is nothing better than after mowing the lawn to sit down in the
back yard and have a glass or two of gluten free beer.
It is incredibley nice be able to brew and
drink a gluten free beer after what has been about 14 years without one.

We brewed the new Gluten Free Beer as a
Xmas present for a friend who is gluten intolerant. Imagine her surprise
when on Christmas Day she discovered her present was an empty tub once
containing all the ingredients for a Gluten Free Beer! It was very easy to
follow the instructions. It bubbled happily away in the fermenter as per
regular brews. It was bottled as normal; and then the wait was on. Everyone
who has tried it loves it! Our friend’s husband has also taken to drinking
it, in place of his regular drop. Our friend says it was the nicest thing
that anyone has ever done for her!
It is so easy to make and extremely reasonable in cost. Congratulations!

My name is Stephen Darby and I have been
brewing for about 8 years, the last 2 of which I have needed to get into
Gluten Free brewing as I have been diagnosed as being Gluten Intolerant.
I started GF brewing using a rice recipe
which I picked up from a semi-commercial brewing operation in NSW. I found
the rice beer enjoyable and good for my health.
About 6 months ago, I became aware of brewers in the US using Sorghum as a
base for GF brewing. After some trawling of the internet I cam across your
operation and now I am a convert to Sorghum.
I have now brewed twice with Sorghum once
with my own recipe and the second using a variation of the Cascade Pale
recipe from Brewers Choice and found the result far better than any other GF
beer including commercially produced.
It is still a little sweeter than normal beer, but it looks like beer,
smells like beer and careful hopping gets it to be the closest thing I have
found to real beer.
I would recommend Sorghum brewing to all home brewers that need a GF
alternative and when you compare it to the commercial GF beer you won’t be
disappointed.

I purchased three Brewers Choice gluten-free beer kits from you in July, 2008. I found the beer very easy to make. In fact, it was similar to brewing the commercial beer brew kits except for the small amount of time to boil the brew.
Recently, I opened my first stubbie and found the beer (Pale Ale) really smooth and refreshing. I intend to order future kits in late November.
